CrossRoads Equestrian is proud to offer name brand equestrian gear and tack with exceptional, personalized service.

Its founders chose the name CrossRoads because of its unique location both geographically and historically in Central Texas.  Ranches in both McLennan and Bosque counties played a central role in the Chisholm Trail cattle drives of the 1860's and 70's.  This area is often called the "top of the Hill Country", right next to the Blackland Prairie.  A geographic combination of wide open spaces and woody river bottoms with deep, fertile soil provided excellent opportunities for cattle ranchers and farmers alike.  Many feeder trails fed cattle from these ranches into the Chisholm Trail in the area, thus becoming a crossroads of sorts linking the ranches in the region.

A stagecoach house was located at one such crossroad near modern day China Spring, where cowboys, farmers, and travelers alike would find rest and sustenance near the critical crossing at Kimball on the Brazos River just to the north.  CrossRoads Equestrian is named for, and located at, that particular crossroad and carries on that tradition by serving as a place that brings together equestrian enthusiasts, competitors, cowboys, and riders from a variety of riding disciplines to offer the best products and services for the customers needs.
